GENERAL DESCRIPTION rnThe Project Coordinator is an entry level professional position responsible for facilitating and organizing various aspects of the Project Management business field. Business acumen and technical savvy are key to success. Projects may include any of the following activities: prototyping, manufacturing, kitting, integration, and delivery. The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role supporting the Project and/or Program Manager in the execution of Projects within defined timelines and scope. Keys to success are flexibility, perseverance, diligence, and willingness to learn and grow in Project Management field.rnDUTIESrnrnDrafting presentation material/s for meetings, internal and customer focused.rnCoordinate, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and ensure all products are distributed to stakeholders. rnRecord meeting minutes during meetings.rnMaintaining weekly, monthly and quarterly project status updates for the Project Manager.rnUtilize organizational databases such as Costpoint, Tyonek One, and SharePoint daily to support various program activities.rnMonitor project's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)rnUnderstand and identify Risks management and mitigation efforts.rnAccurately process Contract Data Requirements list (CDRL) items for customer delivery.rnDevelop Bill of Materials (BOM) required using drawings and/or statement of work (SOW).rnSubmit Purchase Requests (PR) to procure parts and/or raw materials for assemblies, kits and fabricated parts. Coordinate shipping for kits and materials to manufacturing locations.rnWork with Project Managers to facilitate communication and synchronize program tasks.rnOther duties may be assigned.rnrnEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS rnrnBachelor's Degree and 2 years task related experience or enrolled in pursuit of a bachelor's degree, with 4 years in a military technical field.rnDoD Acquisitions and manufacturing procurement experience is desired.rnAircraft experience is highly desirable.rnComputer skills; MS Office Suite; MS Project; with ability to learn additional computer skills.rnInterpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.rnWill also routinely interact with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, suppliers, etcrnBe able to occasionally travel in support of the program.rnStrong problem-solving skills: ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations for problem resolution.rnHigh degree of self-motivation and the ability to work in a Team and independently.rnWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.rnMust be a U.S. Citizen.rnBe able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.rnWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.rnrnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSrnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
