Overview:TRC is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Project Coordinator to support our Advanced Energy group in the St. Louis, MO Market. Your business acumen, decision making, time management, effective communication and professionalism allow you to thrive in a multi-faceted environment to meet program and project goals and objectives.
As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving incentive applications to ensure quality, adherence to program rules, and energy efficiency measure review. Your knowledge, skills, experience, and passion for sustainability measures directly impact TRC, our clients, and most importantly, the consumer’s bottom line.
Qualified candidates will be a hands-on, skilled resource and possess technical capabilities including knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency, green building and/or sustainability. Background and/or degrees in sustainability and/or energy efficiency is preferred. The position is located in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate commercial energy efficiency project applications to successful completion.
- Enter and maintain project tracking within CRM system.
- Determine project eligibility by reviewing application and document submittals to ensure program requirements are met.
- Guide program participants through the application process and keep them informed as their project progresses through the various stages.
- Complete light technical reviews.
- Provide excellent customer service answering inquiries, application guidance, promote program awareness and available incentives.
- Exercise independent judgement to anticipate project/customer needs and ensure projects progress in a timely manner.
- Complete project closure procedures and issue final incentive.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with customers and trade allies, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed the customer’s expectations and program requirements.
- Monitor performance metrics and timelines to support program goals. Determine and communicate when adjustments are required.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Reside in the St. Louis area.
- Bachelor’s degree (prefer a focus in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Project Management, or a related discipline)
- Experience and/or interest in the energy efficiency/electrification/sustainability industry or related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, collect and document project requirements, successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong decision-making capabilities.
- Self‐driven with established critical thinking, analytical, and problem‐solving skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret established process guidelines and manuals to implement project flow.
- Previous experience working independently as well as the ability to work in a team atmosphere to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Highly qualified candidates will demonstrate:
- 3 years of professional experience in a project coordinator or related position
- Environmental or energy background or certifications
- Outstanding organizational, time-management and planning skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a proactive and collaborative style that works well in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience working with a CRM system to manage data and create reports.

Compensation: Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
