About the Job Opportunity
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join CAC’s largest department, Production, Outreach, and Planning (POP)!
Reporting to the Project Manager for POP, you will play a key role in providing administrative support and project coordination to the leadership of the POP Department, which consists of four distinct teams—Engagement, Events & Production, F3, and Programs. In this role, you will assist with the logistics of cross-functional meetings and projects that drive the integration of CAC’s strategic foundations into the product development process. You will also offer support to the Deputy Executive Director and the Project Manager with department-wide initiatives, meetings, and communications, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across all teams.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate Meetings and Action Items: Schedule and attend meetings for the POP Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that action items and decisions are documented, communicated, and followed up on to support seamless cross-team collaboration across the POP teams: Engagement, Events & Production, F3, and Programs.
- Project Support & Planning: Support POP projects by translating them into our project management software, Asana, tracking task progress, and ensuring deadlines are met. Provide ongoing support to POP team members in using Asana to monitor project timelines and ensure alignment with CAC’s strategic roadmap.
- Administrative Support: Perform a wide range of administrative tasks for the POP department, including coordinating meeting logistics, preparing materials for meetings and projects, and occasionally organizing travel arrangements.
- Process Improvement: Support efforts to enhance departmental procedures and communication workflows to ensure alignment with CAC’s strategic goals and organizational standards, fostering greater efficiency and clarity within the department.
- Support Organizational Culture: Identify and integrate opportunities within the POP department to contribute to CAC’s goal of building a mission-driven team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- 3-5 years of project coordination experience and administrative support.
- Proficient with office management systems, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- The ability to quickly learn the basics of the CAC’s educational offerings, teaching, and landscape, with the intention to move from mission curiosity to mission competence.
- Experience with email and calendar systems, such as Outlook.
- Experience with video and teleconference tools, such as Zoom.
- Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, preferred.
- RASCI project management experience preferred.
- Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality.
Work Requirements
- Sitting for long periods of time, using a computer, keyboard and monitor is required.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 15 pounds.
- Ability to speak English and hear spoken words.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Salary & Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position. While we’re open to candidates across the country, you will be expected to be available during our core collaboration hours (9:30 AM–3:30 PM MT), with additional work hours offering flexibility based on your time zone. The position also requires travel to Albuquerque 2–4 times per year.
At CAC, we are pleased to offer an hourly range of $23.85 - $29.81 ($49,610.00 - $62,012.50 annually) based on experience for this position. CAC compensation packages are one part of a generous total rewards package that also includes industry-leading flexibility, benefits, and paid leave. Compensation ranges are established based on a grade system designed to ensure competitiveness with industry standards as well as pay equity. Final compensation will be determined based on the specific qualifications of the candidate in relation to the salary grade and predetermined criteria.
