Job Description
SUMMARY
Receive and review samples to determine what type of testing is required for processing/quoting based on Regulatory/Industry requirements and client specifications. Work with multiple labs to coordinate testing and compile into 1 set of multifunctional reports.
JOB FUNCTIONS

- Ensure receipt of proper documentation/approval for processing of samples and update sample tracker.
- Identify sample components and describe components through the sample’s material list.
- Assign applicable test requirements to each component based on the client’s test request.
- Identify and respond to client inquires/needs via phone and email
- Ability to establish effective working and team relationships with internal and external customers, works
in a collaborative manner
- Seek support from technical managers and lab teams as needed
- Complete all reports prior to the date due so that sufficient time is given for report review.
- Organize incoming projects by the date due and severity based on duration
- Experience in an administrative capacity.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, speak, read and write.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, and Outlook specifically.
- Experience with Sharepoint and LIMS-type database.
- College graduate; preferably in a Scientific Field.
- Strong organizational aptitude.
- Ability to type at a very fast pace with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Must be able to type 15-25 reports per day.
- Good time management, follow up and sense of urgency
- Highly motivated, dependable, and detail oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in science Degree
- Client facing experience preferred
- Familiarity with consumer product standards and methodologies related to CPSIA, ASTM, BIFMA, ASME, PROP 65 and ISTA, TPCH and corresponding European Regulations is a plus
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Language Skills: English required
- Mathematical Skills Intermediate preferred
- Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Advanced preferred
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
- List other knowledge/skills or abilities required/preferred for performing the job.
