Position: PROJECT COORDINATOR
Supervisor: Operations Manager
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt
Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 depending upon experience
POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Project Coordinator whose primary role is to provide excellent customer service to our clients. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. This individual will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate all meetings and communications from client approval to project completion.
- Review project in detail to discover any impending issues.
- Collaborate with internal furniture team to create floorplans and detailed information for installation team.
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, including the use of KPIs and metrics.
- Prepare and deliver project reports, proposals, required documentation, and presentations.
- Conduct site visits during the project
- Manage project resources and teams from project inception to close.
- Document project progress, troubleshoot issues, lead quality assurance and confirm schedules are met
- Coordinates project meetings with subcontractors, sales, and design if necessary
QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient knowledge in Microsoft office suite and outlook. Ability to problem solve and be flexible without direction. High-level organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to prioritize, be self-sufficient and have a proactive work ethic. Ability to constantly multi-task. Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
Bachelor's degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered with a minimum of 4-6 years of project management or PMP certification. Proven commercial/residential furniture design and/or construction experience preferred. Previous experience with HIVE software and CAD a plus.
