Work Type: Full Time (Total FTE between 0.9 and 1.0)
Shift: Shift 1
Work Schedule: 8 Hr (7:00:00 AM - 3:00:00 PM)
Summary:
This position is monitors project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, organizes and participates in stakeholder meetings, and ensures that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. -
Other information:
Required Job Qualifications:
• High School Diploma OR GED.
• 2 years of relevant project work experience.
• Organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree.
Responsibilities:
• Maintains and monitors project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
• Organizes, attending and participates in stakeholder meetings.
• Documents and follows up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Breaks projects into actions items and creates timeframes.
• Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
• Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensues project deadlines are met.
• Monitors project progress and handle any issues that arise.
• Assesses project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensures stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
• Creates a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
• Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement).
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Ensures clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
• Other duties as assigned.
