Job Title: Project Coordinator
Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team at a leading general contracting firm specializing in commercial construction. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting project managers and ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in coordinating project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Track project costs and prepare cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in commercial construction.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
