Project Coordinator at Avenica

Position: Project Coordinator (HYBRID)

Location: Lockport, IL

Schedule: M-F, 730am-4pm

Worksite Arrangement: Hybrid after training (at least 1 day on-site/week after training)

Compensation: $26/hr

Start Date: 1st or 2nd week of December.

Overview:

Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Project Coordinator in the logistics and transportation industry. Great opportunities for long-term growth and project management experience! This person will be responsible for creating and managing project timelines to meet client needs related to fulfillment of orders. Clear communication in a fast-paced environment and strong interpersonal and organization skills are critical for success in this role. 

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage project timelines based on client needs
• Communicate and strategize with internal departments in order to meet client project deadlines and achieve successful completion
• Follow up consistently with clients and internal teams with updates, prompt issue resolutions, and coordinate planning meetings as needed 
• Consistent customer service to clients
• Identify and research cause of delays or roadblocks 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred (any major/area of study)
• 2+ years of related experience required with (high-volume) client-facing responsibilities (email and phone communication), ex. account or project coordinator, supply chain, executive assistant, etc. 
• Strong customer service and organization skills
• Excellent project and time management skills--> ability to be proactive and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Ability to learn new systems quickly 
• Flexible to changing needs and can work effectively in fast-paced environments
