Project Coordinator - USALCO

USALCO Baltimore Plant, LLC is a major unit within the manufacturing network of a leading provider of aluminum-based component products used in water treatment, pulp and paper manufacturing, the making of catalysts for oil refining, the housing market and other sectors. The right individual will have a can-do attitude, the ability to be part of a team while operating independently, and consistently performs to very high standards.

USALCO is in search of a Project Administrator that can support the Engineering Department as we continue to grow and build our organization.

Essential Job Functions:

• Update financial spreadsheets for capital projects by communicating with stakeholders and ensuring their information is up to date in the tracking spreadsheets.
• Assist Engineering in PO requests, invoicing, and goods receipt logging.
• Organize, log and track project and engineering documentation.
• Assist in the development and updating of capital project reports to senior management.
• Track safety records and other relevant information from contractors, subs and other organizations engineering interacts with.
• Assist Project Managers and Engineers in procurement, supplies, shipping, communications, and general support for day-to-day operations.
• Collate notes and meeting documentation.
• Post, update and maintain the engineering SharePoint site.
• Look for opportunities for improvement and present ideas that will better the organization.

Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to track and organize project documentation including but not limited to change orders, requests for information, safety inspections, QA, punch lists, permits, timesheets, and other documents as necessary.
• Have a "can-do" attitude, the ability to be part of a team while operating independently, and consistently performs to very high standards. Not afraid to get hands dirty while performing duties.
• Experience in industrial construction activities and manufacturing operations.
• Eager to learn and adapt to an environment that can change rapidly.
• Ability to work in active chemical plants around operating equipment in hazardous environments. Roll is not limited to office environment.
• Fluent in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One-Note and other essential tools necessary for the office environment.
• Able to lift and carry 30lb items when necessary.
• Experience in Aptean ERP software.
• This is an on-site roll with no ability for remote work.
