We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our business team. In this role, you will support the Project Manager and Estimator in planning, organizing, and executing projects efficiently. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and maintain meticulous project documentation will be key to your success. Qualified candidates will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, drive to win, team mentality, good problem-solving skills, and be honest and dependable.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Execute tasks such as creating job books and compiling data for project submittals.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and progress reports.
- Complete startup sheets for new projects.
- Read and review plans and specifications for upcoming projects.
- Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Serve as the point of contact to communicate project status to all participants.
- Support the preparation of project estimates and bids.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and team members to meet project requirements.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Track and report on project performance, analyzing the successful completion of both short-term and long-term goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in the industrial coatings or construction industry.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with industrial painting and coatings projects, the construction industry, or a related field, is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full - Time
- In office position, must be able to commute to Anaheim.
- Competitive rate at $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
