In this pivotal role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Senior Leadership, ensuring accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making

Compensation:$60,000 to $80,000 depending on skills and years of experience Duties and Responsibilities: - Work with PMs to anticipate project demands and resolve issues that arise during the project life cycle

- Embrace a trust but verify approach, adept at asking probing questions to unearth root issues and ensure thorough understanding

- Develop and maintain project budgets and actual costs; prepare cost reports; and analyze cost data

- Develop and maintain project schedules and actual progress based on information provided by PMs or team members; prepare schedule reports; and analyze schedule data

- Constantly seek to find signs of problems before they occur

Identify warning signs and elevate them to the appropriate level

- Develop and maintain a professional rapport with client, project team members, and internal/external stakeholders

- Participate in process improvement team efforts to achieve divisional/company objectives

- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures

- Perform other duties as required by assigned projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of accrual-based accounting methodologies and practices (for fixed price projects and time and materials projects)

- Knowledge of computer applications and functions including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and project management software (Microsoft Project, Unanet, etc.)

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational skills - Excellent problem solving/judgment skills - Understanding of project management and accounting terminology - Ability to prepare and/or maintain project plans, reports, documents, and procedures to address specific project needs

- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

- Ability to travel (less than 20%) and work extended hours for project assignments and meetings - Ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines

- Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

- Ability to assess personal workload demands and proactively communicate, flagging instances of potential overwork or underutilization

Education and Experience: - Bachelors degree plus at least (2) years of related project controls or administration experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Training in Project Management is preferred

- Training in project management software is preferred

- Natural gas or utility experience is preferred

Physical Demands: - Duties are perfor ed in an office environment

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time

- Consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery

- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients

Must be able to exchange accurate information
