Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Project Assistant, to join our client in the Waterford, NY area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will provide support for the construction project management team in several ways.

Construction project assistant roles can be a good fit for people who are organized, have good communication skills, and enjoy variety in their work.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Creating lists, printing documents, assembling manuals, and preparing data sheets 
• Assisting with project set up, estimating, bidding, planning, coordinating, and scheduling 
• Acting as a point of contact for vendors, construction teams, and subcontractors 
• Ensuring that safety guidelines are followed, and that materials and job workmanship are inspected 
• Coordinating tasks and ensuring projects are completed on time 
• Keeping a daily log of job site occurrences 
• Finalizing and walking through buildings with clients 

Qualifications

• Strong Computer Skills – Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and experience with Procore or any construction software is a plus.
• Ability to communicate project coordination throughout departments, with senior management and project staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to provide a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.

Salary

• $50-$55k
