Fort Valley State University, the only 1890 land-grant university in Georgia, is a comprehensive institution that provides an education to over 2,800 students including graduate students. JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Assistant (Part Time) is responsible for coordinating and performing other assigned duties. The assistant will work a 30-hour week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate activities among collaborators
- Provide administrative support to project
- Collect, code and analyze surveys, and statistical data; assist in sensory tests
- Write project reports
- Develop and main project website and other outlets
- Supervise student workers
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- One year of experience directly related to the responsibilities of the position
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision as well as a team member
- Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Possess computer skills
- Possess mathematical skills
