For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an opening for a Project Assistant Intern starting August 20, 2024.
Summary
The Project Assistant Intern helps with the planning, reporting, implementation, and tracking of projects and project related tasks, responds to existing customer inquiries, and analyzes/reports on project progress. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong internal and external customer relationships.

Responsibilities
- Help with project tasks from opportunity/proposal stage through completion including project financials, handling day-to-day issues, project meetings and customer retention activities
- Help ensure that projects and related tasks meet the schedule, budget, quality standards, and are managed with department and IQAir standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Air Quality Service to schedule the work of the Field Technicians
- Schedule project and customer related activities for Air Quality Technicians
- Coordinate permits and coordinate inspections as needed
- Write and disseminate work plans and project documents, including procedures, proposals, progress reports, bills, invoices and presentations
- Conduct on-site and virtual customer education trainings; manage and build customer relationships through face-to-face, phone and email interaction
- Facilitate meetings when necessary, contributing to planning & decision making
- Manage the budget for small projects, or components of larger projects under the general direction of the Manager, Air Quality Services
- Help manage projects and sales activity in the ERP/CRM system, order management, fulfillment, invoicing and case management
- Monitors customer site filter life and air quality results, communicates and reports data internally and externally
- Makes recommendations for development and improvement of IQAir resources and tools
- Provide support for the Air Quality contact center queues as required
- Local travel up to 20%, determined on a project by project basis within North America
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and Skype)
- Must be able to pass Department of Justice Live Scan screening and pre-employment drug and background screens
- Clean DMV record required to drive company vehicle to site locations
Other Requirements
May be required to attend and participate in professional development activities both in and outside the company to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.

At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $23.00 an hour.
