About the Job
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The University of Rochester Department of Anesthesia is seeking an Administration project assistant for May through August of 2024. This full-time, co-op experience is project-based with a focus on modernizing and updating processes as well as assisting in creating new SOP and a department business case study.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Under direction of the Program Administrator and Administration team of the department the co-op responsibilities will include:
+ Updating current departmental tracking systems in preparation for audit readiness and SOP opportunities
+ Work collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximize productivity Collaborate with the whole project team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle
+ Report updates verbally and in written form to management
+ Complete any necessary administrative tasks, such as research and email
+ Be organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. The ability to keep on task in a positive and encouraging manner is also a must-have skill in this position
Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School diploma required. Pursing a bachelor's degree in management, leadership or healthcare design with an interest in hospital finance and operations
+ Some coursework related to healthcare operations and finance. 1+ years of related work experience or a combination of work and education
+ Microsoft office tools including excel, PowerPoint. Strong analytical and organization skills and detail oriented
