POSITION SUMMARY:
Project Assistant will work under the direction of a Senior Solution Architect to help establish or improve a number of business processes employed within University IT.
NOTE: The timeframe for this role is June 3 rd – August 9 th, 2024
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Assist with the development of the Enterprise Architecture Practice and the services that are offered
Assit with the implementation of a planned architecture review committee
Assist with the creation of Business Architecture as they relate to University IT architecture initiatives
Helping develop the initial features for our Cloud Center of Excellence including:
+ Creating a charter to define the intended outcomes of the CCOE
+ Developing and beginning to execute a plan for how to better communicate and promote our cloud capabilities to our customers
+ Surveying our various users to facilitate enablement through training opportunities
Organize and rationalize data gathered for proposal to governance committees and senior leadership.
Other duties as assigned
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Matriculated in an undergraduate studies program in IT, business administration, healthcare administration, engineering, or related field preferred.
+ 1+ year of work experience is preferred.
+ or an equivalent combination of education training and/or experience required.
+ No professional work experience is required.
+ Technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new technology preferred.
+ Ability to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing preferred.
+ Solution oriented with a positive attitude preferred.
+ Strong ability to prioritize. Strong attention to detail preferred.
+ Reliable and able to establish trust with your team preferred.
+ No professional certification required.
+ Must be able to travel to designated sites as assigned.

**Pay Range**
Pay Range: $16.50 - $21.45 Hourly
_The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._
