Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Architect to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing the development of various projects, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities. This is a permanent position that offers great opportunities for growth and career advancement.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop architectural plans, blueprints, and construction documents using industry-standard software such as Revit and SketchUp.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful execution of projects.
3. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines and budgets are met without compromising on quality.
5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior architects and interns, fostering their professional growth and development.
6. Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in architectural design and healthcare facilities.
7. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, address their concerns, and present design proposals that meet their expectations.
8. Participate in meetings, presentations, and workshops to discuss project progress, seek feedback, and resolve any design-related challenges.
9. Collaborate with the project management team to develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met.
10. Ensure that all architectural designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including ADA accessibility guidelines and healthcare industry standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Project Architect in the engineering industry, with a focus on healthcare projects.
3. Proficiency in using Revit, SketchUp, and other industry-standard software for architectural design and documentation.
4. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to healthcare facilities.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior architects and interns.
9. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED certification is a plus.
10. Professional licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
