Job Description: Currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project management, and a passion for creating exceptional spaces. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of architectural projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process for various projects, ensuring design excellence and compliance with client requirements.
- Develop detailed construction documents, specifications, and plans.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation in design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED accreditation is a plus.
