About the Job
Position Overview: As a Project Architect, you will lead the architectural design and development of projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Lead the creation and development of architectural designs, ensuring compliance with client requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of the architectural project, from initial concept design to construction documentation and final inspection.
- Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations, providing innovative design solutions and maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws, building codes, and accessibility standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Documentation: Prepare and review detailed construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design principles and practices to create energy-efficient and environmentally responsible buildings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Licensure: Licensed Architect with active registration in the relevant state.
- Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., Revit), strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
