Job Title Project Analyst
Duration - 12 Months
Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 (Hybrid) (2days a week)
Job Description:Education Requirement
A. High School Diploma or EquivalentDay-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
o Interface with process owners, including senior management, to understand business requirements and design solutions which improve workflow, increase efficiencies in cost and time, and reduce company risk.
o Assess potential projects by gathering or documenting the as is process
o Conduct thorough impact analysis and confirm ROI calculation before making recommendation to move forward with automation or not
o Document detailed requirements working with subject matter experts
o Coordinate the development process with developers and operations utilizing agile methodology and manage user acceptance approval
o Collaborate with Sr Project Manager/Scrum Master on work assignments providing recommended solution or approach to complete the work
o Assume ownership and attempt to resolve issues of assigned work
o Provide support to move project through existing implementation gates
o Make important decisions based off of the automation of business process that can have significant impact on people, process and customers
Required Skills/Attributes
o Broad knowledge of project management, agile methodology and operational policies, procedures and practices.
o Experience evaluating & documenting processes.
o Ability to articulate in writing the steps/logic for an existing manual process, analytical thinking, organizational skills, ability to grasp concepts and convert that information into documentation.
Desired Skills/Attributes
o Ability to develop process flows; Experience working in MS Visio or other process documentation technology
o Knowledge of snag-it and other software to assist with capturing images of current process
o Experience working in in Agile Delivery mode
o Experience with Project Management tools (MS Project, Octane)
o Ability to communicate with business team an interpret requirements back to IT development teams.
