Job Description:
Construction company that's been around since the 80s and complete over $500M of work each year is currently hiring for a Project Admin. The Project Admin will play a crucial role in supporting the project teams with various administrative and operational tasks. This role involves working closely with project managers and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of the commercial construction projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Writing subcontracts
+ Reviewing insurance - setting up project files
+ Dealing with Purchase orders
+ Managing front desk - doing office coordination tasks (ordering supplies, etc.)
+ PA's heavily use Procore (main ERP, can train on this software) - and MSFT suite
Additional Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the preparation and management of contracts, schedules, change orders, and insurance tracking for construction projects.
+ Provide efficient administrative support including document control, data entry, and file management.
+ Multitask effectively amidst frequent interruptions, maintaining focus and organization.
+ Contribute to a positive and professional work environment, promoting team spirit and collaboration.
+ Handle reception duties as needed, including managing the reception desk and answering phones.
+ Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for various project-related tasks.
+ Ensure detailed attention is paid to all aspects of project assistance, from initial planning to completion.
+ Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering a positive attitude and approach to problem-solving.
+ Manage deadlines and tasks efficiently, adapting to changing priorities and project needs.
Qualifications:
+ 2-3+ years of Project Administration experience within construction / architecture industry (industry experience is a must have).
+ Construction Contracts Management experience (residential and/or commercial; someone who is very dialed into construction operations).
+ ERP management (Procore) is a huge plus.
+ Any prior construction invoicing / payroll experience is a plus.
+ Microsoft Suite proficiency.
+ Someone who is looking to get into long-term work and call this a 'work home'.
+ Professional oral and written communication.
Disqualifications:
+ No construction / architecture industry experience.
+ Job hoppy.
+ Not comfortable working 100% onsite in Redmond, WA.
+ Not comfortable travelling to Redmond, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00/hr.
