Project Accounting Manager - Hyster-Yale

What you will do: 

• Manage theaccounting, reporting, and financialfunctions forcomplex customer projects. 

• Supervise a team of Project Accountants, ensuringtimelyandaccuraterecording of project transactions and documentation. 

• Oversee thedailyfinance processes forRobotics & Automation including onboarding,tracking, collection of receivables, supplier payments, aged inventory reporting whileensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies. 

• Providepro-forma and final financialreportingand analyticsconcerningproject margins, profitability, working capital,andidentifyingkey drivers for anyvariances. 

• Collaborate with the Commercial and Legal teams to clarify customer contracts and acceptance criteria. 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline project accounting processes and enhance control over transactions.

What you will need: 

• Four-year college degree with major in Accounting or Finance. CPA, CMA, MSA or MBA preferred. 

• Minimum 5years'relevant accounting and/or finance experience.Experience in Project Accounting/Over-time revenue recognition preferred.    

Skills, Experience & Abilities       

• 5-7 years of experience in general ledger and/or commercial/project accounting. 

• Comprehensive knowledge ofGenerally Accepted AccountingPrinciples,standardaccounting & financepractices, and tax compliance.  

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team effectively, in addition to advising orparticipatingwith commercial, commissioning, and legal teams to ensure best practices.  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with department leaders and internal stakeholders. 

• Proficient in Microsoft365 with strong Excel background; SAP experience preferred. 

• Project management experience in developing processes and procedures in evolving business environments.
