Senior Project Accountant
Leader in the construction industry is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to manage customer billings, subcontractor payments, collections, and project cost reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Billings: Review and enter AR billings into Sage, track residential and small job billings, and generate billing reports.
- Collections: Maintain cash receipt logs, communicate with customers on payment status, and manage weekly AR meetings.
- Sub Invoicing & Payments: Route sub invoices to PMs, ensure timely processing, and maintain strong subcontractor relations.
- Compliance: Track compliance documents (lien releases, certified payroll, etc.), and ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Contract & Cost Management: Set up jobs in Sage manage, project budgets, cost codes, and provide reports to PMs.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Degree in Accounting/Finance or 4+ years of related experience.
- Construction industry knowledge preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in Sage 300 (Timberline), Epicor, or related construction ERP required.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.

Salary: $90-$115k
