Location: Seattle/Belltown (On-site)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 DOE

Overview of the Project Accountant Role:

• Manage billing for 70 projects, including lump sum and salary-based invoices.
• Collaborate with project managers to draft, review, and finalize invoices.
• Ensure timely billing within the required 20-21 day period each month.
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) processing as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records for all billing activities.
• Ensure billing compliance with project terms and company policies.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to month-end close and additional accounting projects.

Preferred Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Deltek software (required).
• Experience managing billing for multiple projects.
• Solid understanding of lump sum and salary-based invoicing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
