The primary role includes:
- Review and assist with creating project accounts in the accounting system.
- Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
- Ensure consistent billing and financial reporting at project levels by following established best practices, including preparing and submitting monthly AIA billing.
- Review and track project budgets; investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management.
- Effectively communicate with APM and PM's to determine monthly billing information updates.
- Prepare and revise elaborate client invoices; support effective client relationships and submit project invoices.
- Support analysis and report assigned projects' financial information.
- Work with Field Management on cost projections and expense tracking.
- Recommend and implement agreed process improvements to the billing cycle.
- Prepare special project analyses as needed.
Qualifications:
- HS or equivalent + experience in accounting. Associates/some college with a concentration in accounting.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including accounting software.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
