Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, AIA billing, and lien waivers is a plus.

responsibilities:
- Project Financial Management:
- Manage and oversee the financial aspects of multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
- Track and report project costs, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Monitor and reconcile job cost reports, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process and track all project-related invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.
- Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, progress billings, and collection follow-ups.
- Ensure proper coding and documentation for all financial transactions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor budgets.
- Prepare regular financial projections and identify variances to support decision-making.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Generate and distribute monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with project teams, including project managers, estimators, and site supervisors, to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Provide guidance and support to project stakeholders on financial matters.
