Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, AIA billing, and lien waivers is a plus.

responsibilities:

1. Project Financial Management:
   • Manage and oversee the financial aspects of multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
   • Track and report project costs, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with project goals.
   • Monitor and reconcile job cost reports, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
   • Process and track all project-related invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.
   • Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, progress billings, and collection follow-ups.
   • Ensure proper coding and documentation for all financial transactions.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting:
   • Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor budgets.
   • Prepare regular financial projections and identify variances to support decision-making.
4. Compliance & Reporting:
   • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
   • Generate and distribute monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.
   • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
5. Process Improvement:
   • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
   • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
6. Team Collaboration:
   • Work closely with project teams, including project managers, estimators, and site supervisors, to ensure seamless financial operations.
   • Provide guidance and support to project stakeholders on financial matters.
