Job Title: Project Accountant
Location: Downtown Indianapolis - Fully Onsite
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Oversee project costs, revenue recognition, and financial accuracy.
• Approve project transactions (invoices, purchase orders, change orders).
• Perform job cost, variance, and profitability analyses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams on cost controls and financial issues.
• Support month-end, year-end close, and audits.
• Lead and mentor project accounting staff.
• Enhance efficiency through process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting and project management principles.
