Responsibilities
- Review contracts and set up projects: Analyze project contracts and establish project accounts based on project type (CPFF, T&M, Lump Sum, etc.).
- Set up billing rate tables: Create and maintain tables for various billing rates used in project invoices.
- Generate invoices and support billing submittal: Prepare invoices, gather supporting documentation, and submit them through online client portals.
- Process transfers: Manage transfers of labor and other direct costs between projects.
- Review and process credit memos: Analyze and process credit memos issued by vendors.
- Perform project closeout: Finalize project accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist Accounts Receivable team: Resolve cash receipt issues and identify any unidentified cash receipts.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in dealing with Federal and Commercial contracts, including billing experience with Lumpsum, Time & Material, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and Units billing basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as JD Edwards and DELTEK VantagePoint.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel to local offices.
