What the Project Accountant will do:

As a Project Accountant, you'll be a vital part of the team, ensuring financial precision across many projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking to maximize profitability.
• Preparing and analyzing financial reports to keep stakeholders informed.
• Processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and monitoring project expenses.
• Collaborating with project managers and teams to ensure seamless communication and compliance with financial standards.
• Assisting in contract reviews and ensuring adherence to contractual requirements.
• Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications for the Project Accountant

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting software and systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and a knack for numbers.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a drive to solve problems and innovate.

Salary range: $100K-115K, depending on experience
