Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Prepare miscellaneous journal entries
- Reconcile and maintain fixed asset purchases, disposals, and depreciation
schedules
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Calculate bad debt expense, record the entries, and maintain the reconciliation
- Maintain prepaid expense records and coding
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
- Manage operating and finance leases including entry and reconciliation within
ASC 842 guidelines
- Assist project teams with job cost department changes
- The ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with others
- Strong abilities in setting objectives and goals, establishing priorities, allocating
resources, and anticipating future requirements
- Assist with external audit documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience, proficiency in General Ledger
reconciliation a plus
- Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred; Experience in
lieu of a college degree will be considered
- Construction industry experience a plus
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient in the use of computer spreadsheet software and related applications,
(Excel VLookups and Pivot Tables) is a plus
- Experience with CMiC (accounting system) or comparable Accounting software
is a plus
