Project Accountant + Certified Payroll - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Job Title: Project Accountant
Pay: $28-38/hr
City: Rancho Cucamonga, Ca
Hours: 7am-4pm
Type: Temp To Hire

General Contractor experience in California REQUIRED

Responsibilities:
* Efficiently process accurate project billing within specified timelines, collaborating closely with Project Managers and Superintendents.
* File preliminary notices for new projects as required.
* Utilize Procore for AIA monthly progress billing, ensuring meticulous documentation.
* Process subcontractors' work orders, create change orders, and manage monthly progress invoices.
* Collect and process all subcontractors' monthly progress invoices.
* Maintain detailed project files, including lien releases and DIR/certified payroll documentation.
* Handle Certified Payroll requirements.
* Prepare monthly WIP Reports and other relevant documentation using Microsoft Excel.
* Assist in job-site compliance tracking and preparation of close-out documents.
* Report directly to the President on project financial status.
* Create and manage invoices and change orders.
* Order and issue Certificates of Insurance.

Qualifications:
* College degree preferred with accounting emphasis
* 5+ years of experience working with AIA billing and certified payroll reporting
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Procore experience preferred
