About the Job
The Programmer Analyst will be familiar with the configuration and processes of ERP applications and related interfaces to other systems. This position will be responsible for the analysis, planning, design, development, testing, debugging and production support of ERP applications.

- Remedy ERP production issues and investigate to determine underlying cause.
- Provide technical expertise and support for the ERP application.
- Assist with system upgrades.
- Develop and maintain software related to the ERP application including performance tuning, troubleshooting, ongoing maintenance, and resolution of system issues.
- Design, code, and unit test program changes. Work with and provide guidance during User Acceptance Testing.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ERP and external applications.
- Identify developmental or design risks.
- Maintain strong knowledge of and adhere to development standards (including testing and migration procedures) and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Propose software configuration/modifications to adapt to changes in business requirements.
- Remain current on technology upgrades and advancements and provide recommendations to improve process efficiencies.
- Bachelor's degree (required) or a minimum of 3- 5 years' experience maintaining/developing ERP Software and related systems.
- Significant programming background working in one or more of these toolsets: SQL, Stored Procedures, Query tools and Microsoft tools such as SSRS.
- Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Database development skills: Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft SQR and App engine development.
- Knowledge of standard business processes related to ERP functional areas including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, Treasury, Inventory Management, Asset Management, and other finance related business areas.
- Project management skills.
