Summary This position is located within the Care Management Service at the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS). The incumbent serves as a Program Support Assistant with the Care Management Service and supporting programs in both Aurora, CO (RMR) and Denver, CO (CRRC). This position provides administrative support to the Homeless Programs in Care Management Service and all supporting programs. Identification of needed information, performance, and qualification for liaison involvement. Responsibilities Duties to include but not limited to: Maintains appropriate receipt records and supporting documentation. Reconciles payment charge from Government Purchase Card vendor within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt. Track and Maintain individual timekeeping and leave for Care Management. Enters pertinent information into an automated tracking system. Input required data into databases, logs and rosters for management related to the service. Uses government purchase card to make authorized purchases for the service in accordance with published policies. Compiles various budget reports to the Administrative Officer. Qualifications To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 12/04/2024. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS 06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS 05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS 05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, knowledge of some medical/psychiatric terminology, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and required formats to prepare correspondence and reports, Skill and knowledge in computer operations including all standard office programs, Knowledge of medical administration procedures for securing patient records, and admission policy. Working concept of fiscal procedures including budget policies, travel and General Post Funds. Ability to interact and relate to people of varied educational and professional backgrounds, of many cultural and racial groups, of many socio-economic levels, etc. within the course of a normal workday, knowledge of timekeeping ensuring are completed prior to the deadlines identified by the department to ensure smooth and timely pay for all of the employees. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Additional Information Receiving Service Credit or Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
