Our client is a leading non-profit social services provider is looking for an experienced and passionate Program Supervisor for the Family Life Center
Type: Perm
Schedule: Full time: Monday-Friday 8a-4p or 9a-5p
Location: Absecon, NJ
Summary:
The Family Life Center is a safe and family-friendly environment offering parenting education and support to individuals who are involved with the Division of Protection and Permanency (DCP&P).
The goal of the Family Life Center is to reduce the risk for situations of abuse or neglect by offering services and activities designed to foster constructive parent/child interaction and positive family development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To Provide task supervision to all Family Life Center Direct Care Staff
To facilitate parenting education classes and maintain the upkeep of records on client progress using CFS' electronic database
Submit monthly court reports related to the provision of services and client progress for review by DCP&P and the family court
To complete intakes and development treatment plans
Review and approve parenting skills notes in the Agency's electronic client record and NJ Spirit.
Maintain an open line of communication with the parents, DCP&P and resource parents as it pertains to program enrollment and transportation
Arrange quarterly case conferences with DCP&P to discuss client progress and service recommendations
To provide social work/counseling services to individuals, couples, group and families in accordance with Agency need and client demand.
To assist Program Manager with the maintenance and collection of data needed to track client outcomes for the submission of monthly and quarterly level of service reports
To provide case management including: problem solving, consultation, coordination of services, appropriate community referral, advocacy, current and accurate record keeping of client progress, receiving and preparing reports related to the provision of services
To perform administrative tasks related to caseload
To assist Program Manager with staff development
To carry out designated duties as assigned by Program Manager
Requirements:
MSW Degree or related Master's Degree in the field of Mental Health or Human Services
Highly developed interviewing, assessment and diagnostic skills
Initiative and creativity
Dependability and ability to work well with others
Sensitivity in functioning in a multicultural work setting
Ability to communicate clearly and consistently
Sensitivity and understanding in human relations
A valid NJ driver's license
