Trinity is currently hiring a full-time Program Specialist (FNRC). The FNRC Program Specialist is integral in supporting all agency programs. The Program Specialist supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of special initiatives within the Health and Wellness Division. This position is familiar with all agency programs and seeks to support our community by understanding neighborhood needs and securing resources/developing programming to meet those needs.
What will you be doing as a Program Specialist?
- Incorporate best practices regarding confidentiality into all job duties and communications in accordance with HIPAA, Trinity policies and procedures, and other applicable regulations.
- Receive and inventory all donations to the FNRC, as well as plan for their distribution.
- Support Health & Wellness Division Leader with planning and implementation of seasonal programs such as:
- Holiday Toy Program
- Community Baby Shower
- Coat Boutique
- College Student Move-Out Donations
- Block Party
- Conduct program evaluation for continuous quality improvement.
- Conduct key informant interviews and focus groups to inform FNRC program development.
- Recruit volunteers to support agency events and community programming.
- Network with local community partners and identify opportunities for community programming.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in relevant electronic and paper-based platforms.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
What are your skills and experience?
- Strong computer skills. Experience working with electronic health records preferred.
- Familiarity with community based organizations and like providers of services and programs.
- Excellent crisis intervention, case management, and advocacy skills.
- Valid NYS driver's license, insurance and good driving record.
Salary - $20.50 per hour - 35 hours per week.
