(https://hr.uw.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2018/02/benefits-professional-staff-librarians-academic-staff-20230119\_a11y.pdf) **OPEN TO CURRENT UW and UW MEDICINE EMPLOYEES ONLY** **UW MEDICAL CENTER ONCOLOGY - (MONTLAKE, NORTHWEST, AND FRED HUTCHINSON CANCER CENTER)** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Program Operations Specialist, UWMC Oncology** **Work Schedule** + 100% FTE + PRIMARILY HYBRID - DAYS - ON SITE AT MULTIPLE SITES AS BUSINESS NEEDS REQUIRE **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + Work with interorganizational Executives, Physicians and frontline staff at UW Medical Centers Montlake and Northwest as well as Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center + Opportunity to hone Project Management skills + Potential for Skills and Career growth **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** UW Medical Centers Oncology is a shared service for UW Medical Centers Montlake, Northwest and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Maintain portfolio of projects for the integrated cancer program + Initiate and plan projects using standard tools and processes including Project Charter, Project Plan, Timeline, Risk/Issues Log and Status Reports + Prepare reports on progress to date in alignment with Joint Cancer Program governance meeting cadence and as needed for ad hoc reporting + Management of moderately complex projects + Schedule and facilitate preparation meetings with operational stakeholders to align on talking points (e.g., successes, barriers, action plans) and speaking roles + Prepare, maintain, and update Oncology Service Line Teams site including managing access for other stakeholders + Schedule and lead project workgroup meetings as needed to track deliverables and ensure project success **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor's degree in relevant field + Two to three years of experience as an executive assistant or program management or project management in an academic or research setting + Proficiency in MS Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word + Equivalent education and experience can substitute for the above requirements **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE** UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
