Program Manager – At-Home Day Programs - Search Inc.

About the Role:

As a Program Manager for our At-Home Day Programs, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure smooth staffing and services, and mentor a dedicated team. You’ll also develop service plans, track progress, and help individuals achieve their personal goals.

This position reports to the Director of Adult Learning and Career Services.

Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Salary: $65,000–$68,000 per year

What You’ll Do:

• Lead day services programs in CILAs (group homes) to provide engaging, person-centered care.
• Ensure staff are fully trained, supervised, and mentored to deliver high-quality services.
• Develop and monitor individual service plans and goals for participants.
• Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, progress, and billing.
• Support individuals with daily activities, personal care, and meaningful community outings.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of program spaces, equipment, and vehicles.
• Align programs with state standards, DHS rules, and CQL (Council on Quality and Leadership) standards.
• Stay on top of administrative duties like incident reporting, enrollment, and meeting deadlines.

What We’re Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
• You meet Illinois QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) requirements.
• You’re tech-savvy with strong computer skills.
• You know DHS rules and CQL standards and have at least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred).
• You’re physically able to lift/carry up to 44 lbs. and perform basic movements like kneeling, bending, and reaching.
• You hold a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and (preferably) meet Pace certification requirements.
• You have current CPR and First Aid certifications.
