The Program Manager will collaborate with the postgraduate programs by reviewing applications, on-boarding new residents, and collaborating with financial and human resources teams to ensure the optimal functioning of both programs. This position coordinates and oversees the scheduling for resident schedule and rotations and faculty activities for the programs. Details of functions are enlisted below.

Candidates must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University. This person will report to the Chief Innovation Officer/Associate Dean for Innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is strongly preferred that thecandidatehaveprior administrativeexperience, along withrelevantexperienceina residency program or student clinic.
Preferencemaybegiven toacandidatewithpreviousexperiencein health professionsorhighereducationsettings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Thecandidateselected for this position will perform all duties directed bytheprogramdirectors and willbeexpected to perform thefollowing duties,including but not limited to:
Supervises clinical and administrativestaff,ensuring adequatescheduling and coverageforproviders.
Woks with staff members to coordinatepatient scheduling for faculty practiceas needed.
Manages on-call schedulesforboth residency programs.
Coordinates training for clinical staff,ensuring compliancewith policies andprocedures.
Organizes theweeklyschedulefor Dental Assistants.
Oversees staff timeandattendance, approving leaverequests, timeentry corrections, andmonitoringcompensatorytime/overtimein accordancewithpolicies.
Organizes team meetings and resident activities.
Collaboratewithfinanceand business teams tomaintainand updatetheoperating budget.
Monitors andoptimizesbillingandcollections.
Schedulesexternal clinic visitors,including all communication necessary to process HR forms and obtain approval.
Provides consultations for treatment plans, fees, and financialarrangements.
Oversees staff training onElectronic Health Recordsystems for new andexistingemployees.
Runsmonthlyreports to theProgramDirector.
Serves as a communications liaison between clinicalstaff and faculty.
Maintainsaccurateand completefiles toincludestatusof licensing documentation, BLS and/orcertifications, CV, HR documentation,etc.
Works closely with Program Directors, managingand organizingtherecruitment process forupcoming residents.
Manages onboarding of new residents serving as themainpoint of contact for theAdmissions Office,enrollmentmanagement, andcampusHR.
Managesprocesses toensureresidents aresupplied with required items for their program of study.
Oversees themanagement of inventory,including majorequipment purchases.
Facilitatesshipping, tracking, and receiving of all lab cases.
Ensures compliancewith pharmaceuticals anddental materials through theMonthly Inspection Report.
Ensurecompliancestandards areconsistent with theCommission of Dental Accreditation (CODA) and High Point University.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
This position will report to theChief Innovation Officer/ AssociateDean for Innovation.
Evaluation: Ongoing performancereviewsareconducted along with an annual assessmentwhichincludes input from theprogram directors,faculty, personnel, and learners.
