Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager supporting a Joint Test & Evaluation Task Order supporting Astrion's Army Division.
JOB DETAILS
LOCATION: Washington, D.C.
JOB STATUS: Full Time
TRAVEL: Estimated Up to 20%
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in business or management or a related technical discipline.
CERTIFICATIONS: Possess training and certification in Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management program
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Ten (10) years of demonstrated experience and expertise in program management and supervisory duties in managing contractor personnel administration, establishing work priorities, developing resource utilization plans, and accomplishing task order requirements in DOD programs.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility at the time of proposal submission.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Minimum of 10 years of Program Management supporting a federal government contracts.
- Possess training and certification in Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management program
- Previous experience with Joint Test & Evaluation projects.
- Knowledge of operational and developmental testing.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability communicate with and brief high ranking officials.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Possess a Master of Business and Management (MBM), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), or a master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Task Order Program Manager (TOPM) shall provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance as defined in Section C.5.1, and leadership of the execution of this Task Order
- Direct efforts of cross-disciplinary teams, which may include contractors performing at multiple locations, and shall serve as the primary interface to the government.
- Manage overall Task Order (TO) performance and shall be accountable for marshaling contractor resources and teaming partners to timely and successful execution and operation of JFS, JT, QRT and T&E activities under the TO. This includes staffing, scheduling, applying quality control specific to the project type, and ensuring that all reporting and deliverables provided are accurate, thorough, and timely.
- Responsible for engaging in regular, recurring communications with the government and regularly briefing program status and milestones to keep stakeholders informed.
- Make decisions for the prime contractor.
