Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will support Barrow Wise's State of Illinois project and perform the following duties:
- Perform program management oversight for the CCWIS program, including all PMO vendor Project Managers and Business Analysts
- Make daily project decisions as needed and escalate issues to the project executive or designee.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the integrated project schedule, and decision, risk and issue logs
- Ensure all internal project communications and reporting is occurring.
- Develop and maintain, in collaboration with the State and other vendors, the Master PMP
- Develop and maintain, in consultation with the State and other vendors, the Integrated Schedule
- Ensure all vendors, and the State, are abiding by the Integrated Schedule and notify the State immediately of deviations that comprise the CCWIS Implementation
- Provide a complete and thorough review of project deliverables and ensure review and approval milestones are met
- Perform other duties as assigned
An Ideal Candidate has:
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical related discipline (e.g., finance, engineering, mathematics, or computer science)
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting technology solutions as PMO Manager
- Two (2) to Five (5) years' experience in child welfare or human services related role(s)
- Ability to write detailed assessment reports of project activities
- Strong familiarity with agile methodologies
- Ability to analyze and resolve difficult logic and processing issues
- Documented experience with highly complex, multi-vendor technology, replacing extreme legacy system across multiple units.
- Budget management, people management, and strategic planning experience
- Proficient with the MS Office, including Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both written and oral.
- Work with minimal supervision at client sites while operating as part of a larger team.
