Position Summary
Client is seeking a highly motivated, capable program manager for the IT Office of the CIO to lead and manage the Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation / CIO executive briefing of contract transactions.
Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation / CIO Briefing
" A key expectation is you must be proficient in identifying, assessing, and executing opportunities to improve cost, quality, partner performance, speed to market and establishing strong measure and metrics.
" Document your findings, recommendations, and deal summary for executives.
" Capture decisions and action items via meeting minutes and follow up on timely completion of those action items.
" This specialist will help manage a technology intake process and triage and analyze IT technology procurement requests and offer informed recommendations
" Develop and enhance governance frameworks while optimizing structure and requirements for IT technology procurement requests.
" Act as a liaison by working closely with all parties including IT, architecture, security, etc, to help ensure compliance with business practices.
" Develop upstream strategies and approaches necessary to aid technology rationalization/ optimization of the IT technology portfolio
" Identify potential risks in proposed IT contracts structure and propose mitigation strategies
" Monitor IT portfolio budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial planning.
" Stay updated on industry best practices, legal trends, and technology developments related to IT contracts
Experience and / or Qualifications
" Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT Management or a related field.
" 8+ years of experience in IT contract management, procurement, or a related governance role.
" Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software licensing, cloud services, and related vendor management.
" Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
" Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills and financial acumen
Desired Qualifications
Regulatory experience
Proficient with project management and business software
Applicable advanced degree (MS or MBA)
