BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Program Manager for an exciting opportunity to support the Defense Logistics Agency s (DLA) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) supply chain management efforts. The work location is Richmond, VA.
The Program Manager will build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply chain experts, some of which may be remotely located at the Minuteman III (MMIII) Systems Program Office, Hill AFB, UT. Work in a high-paced and high visibility environment, managing the MMIII WS supply chain, identifying (through research and analysis), mitigating parts related risks/issues, and tracking those mitigations through successful completion. Develop (and advocate for) solutions to parts availability issues impacting the aging weapon system. Serve as the key liaison between the DLA ICBM Weapon System Program Manager (WSPM) at DLA Richmond, VA, the MMIII Systems Directorate (Program Office) at Hill AFB, UT, and BAE Systems MMIII Integrated Support Contractor (ISC), Hill AFB, UT. As such, the Program Manager will coordinate efforts between the organizations listed above, as well as develop/present, research, analysis results, reports, briefings to leadership on a regular basis. Serve as the MMIII Systems Directorates and ISC s primary point of contact (POC) at DLA, ICBM Program Office to facilitate effective cooperation, coordination, collaboration, integration, and communication between the three organizations. Opportunity to develop and execute plans associated with supply chain transition from the MMIII to the new Sentinel ICBM WS.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Provide direct support to DLA ICBM WSPM, Richmond, VA and working tasks assigned by that organization and superior management within the ISC at Hill AFB, UT
+ Build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply experts to support DLA ICBM WSPM
+ Integrate the team s efforts into MMIII Systems Directorate and ISC processes, such as attending Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Working Group (WG) meetings
+ Become proficient in and Integrate the Ark.Ai vendor and supply data/analysis system provided by BAE Systems and its subcontractor, Govini
+ Attend conferences related to MMIII sustainment
+ Act as DLA Customer Advocate and dedicated Specialist providing implementing directions for DLA demand and supply chain(s) and other DLA Defense Supply Centers (DSC) support of weapon system and customer needs
+ Assist the WSPM with the multi-disciplinary Integrated Process Teams consisting of members from various DLA organizations, other government entities to develop and implement strategies in support of weapon system
+ Serve as a customer focal point for assigned sustainment issues related to logistics, supply support, life cycle management, provisioning of overhaul and maintenance efforts of assigned MMIII systems and subsystems
+ Work with assigned customer sites and DLA representatives to develop materiel and logistics sustainment requirements for assigned project workload and integrates required actions to develop recommended Weapons Systems logistics support plans
+ Monitor DLA impact on fleet-wide weapon system readiness and analyze provisioning related degrades to identify problems and solutions to restore acceptable levels of support
+ Deliver training to customers on DLA processes to support logistics life cycle efforts and product support initiatives, to include the processes of the Federal/DLA supply
+ Provide acquisition and logistics support for assigned items/develop and implementing innovative acquisition support solutions
+ Shape supply chain transition from MMIII to new Sentinel ICBM system
+ Develop strategies to support, achieve, and exceed customer initiatives in the areas of materiel planning, pre-award and post-award contracting, quality assurance, and/or technical operations
+ Develop (and advocate for) solutions to parts availability issues impacting the aging weapon system
+ Coordinate efforts between DLA ICBM WSPM, MMIII Systems Directorate, and the ISC
+ Develop and deliver analysis, reports, research, position papers, and briefings
+ Brief DLA ICBM WSPM, MMIII Systems Directorate, and ISC leadership on program efforts, initiatives, and results
+ Utilize DLA, Department of Defense, Air Force, Commercial, data systems to provide customers and ISC insightful supply related analysis, issue/risk identification, and mitigation strategy development
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Minimum 10 years of experience (8 years with Master s degree)
+ Ability to build, train, and manage a team from scratch.
+ Ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment with a customer-focused approach and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving customers.
+ Demonstrate success in implementing lean manufacturing and supply chain initiatives.
+ Record of success in supporting increasing demand while continuing to meet key performance indicators.
+ Strong collaborative, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
+ Ability to manage and report status of projects within a project management discipline.
+ Experience in supply management and logistical support functions such as supply, procurement, transportation, cataloging, provisioning, storage, and distribution.
+ Broad understanding of the levels of repair philosophies for the military services and of how the philosophies impact material support.
+ Understanding of the processes of the Military Service which the assigned WS Group supplies, and broad knowledge of inventory policy, procedure, automated systems and decision routines.
+ Experience with integrated logistics support concepts, policies and procedures including maintenance, material support, support equipment, and other integrated elements.
+ Experience with databases and ability to extract data detailing customer behavior and Group performance relative to the behavior, and to analyze supply detractors.
+ Ability to develop and present briefings, research, analysis, and position/advocacy papers/briefings to leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in DLA, DoD, Air Force, and ISC supply related data and analysis systems (i.e., Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), Haystack, BLADE, FEDMALL etc.).
+ Proficiency in Microsoft productivity suites (i.e., MS Word, EXCEL, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.).
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to yield total supply chain solutions.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ 5 years experience working for DLA.
+ DAU LOG 101 certificate.
+ PMP Certification.
+ MMIII maintenance or logistics experience.
+ Excellent relationship / interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to foster and grow organizational relationships.
+ Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
+ Ability to work with incomplete information and ambiguity (vision).
+ Industry knowledge of Aerospace & Defense supply chains.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115100 - $195700
