About the Job
The Program Manager will oversee Trilogy’s South Chicago Residential Sites. The Program Manager will be responsible for the general welfare of the clients and employees of their assigned treatment teams. They will provide direct clinical supervision, ensure the team meetings run effectively, monitor the quality and efficiency of all program/team services provided to clients and develop and implement tracking systems for required documentation. They will be responsible for the development, operation, administration, and evaluation of their program/teams including CCMTP clients and processes. They will have working knowledge of the Coordinated Entry System and CCMTP process for clients moving into the residential programs and ongoing requirements. The Program Manager will provide direct clinical supervision for team members, run department meetings, help develop and monitor treatment plans for the team’s clients, and develop and administer tracking systems for required documentation to ensure quality service delivery and effective interventions to clients. The Program Manager will provide and ensure the team provides client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed services to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse/addiction disorders utilizing a harm reduction approach.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct service to clients and their families, functioning as the Senior Clinician for the Residential programs on the Southside.
- Work with assigned teams to regularly assess the appropriate level of care and engagement of clients. Implement transition/discharge plans as needed.
- Manage client moves which include all required state reporting and treatment planning.
- Monitor and adjust employee schedules and allocate resources accordingly to ensure clinical time is scheduled to meet direct service requirements; and maintain program budget.
- Provide effective supervision and coaching to all assigned team members. Train new employees to provide quality services to clients. Ensure continued education and training for assigned clinical and administrative staff to strengthen services provided.
- Evaluate program’s effectiveness in meeting deliverables. Recommend modifications in service structure or operations that affect the program. Develop plans to improve program performance.
- Maintain documentation and chart in compliance with Medicaid, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Services (CARF), and agency standards.
- Ensure timely responses to authorization issues from managed care organizations
- Complete quarterly/monthly reports as needed for funders and the state.
- Functioning knowledge of CES process and subsidies with an ability to work with external referral sources to fill units.
- Represent Trilogy and the program to external partners. Participate in meetings, committees, and work groups as needed.

- Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other closely related field
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois
- Minimum two years’ experience working with people with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses
- Valid Illinois Driver’s License with daily access to a vehicle. Must have $100,000/$300,000 auto liability insurance.
