How You Will Make an Impact?
The National Accounts Program Manager has direct responsibility for prospecting, developing managing all aspects of major fleet accounts.
The Nuts and Bolts
- Develop specifications; negotiate pricing; manage production schedule; manage accounts receivable issues; manage quality issues, for all major accounts.
- Perform quote activity through MBB V2 in conjunction with Technical Sales.
- Submit monthly activity report.
- Chassis to body order coordination, including orders without chassis VIN numbers, identify on ground unidentified chassis, chassis build and arrival dates, coordination of all customer supplied materials.
- Sales to Engineering liaison. Insuring customer's expectations are crystal clear to Engineering and Manufacturing from quote process through build.
- Warranty investigation, damage control and contribution to resolution.
- Participate at industry trade shows as required.
- Participate in marketing initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of national accounts experience in the transportation industry
- Excellent organizational skills and effective communication, both verbal and written are required
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Power Point. Solid data analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree a plus, but not required
You Must Be Able to
- Travel up to 30%
- Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
