Triumph Enterprises is currently looking for a Program Manager to join us supporting a federal government client with an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while serving a fulfilling mission.
The Program Manager will oversee the successful execution of the contract, managing resources, ensuring compliance, and coordinating across departments. This role is responsible for ensuring that all contract deliverables are met on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Location: Keyport, WA
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work directly with our government client and support team members to:
- Manage contract activities, including budget, resources, and timelines, to ensure successful delivery of contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and regulations, maintaining alignment with federal standards.
- Coordinate with department leads to ensure successful execution of contract deliverables.
- Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Report program status to senior management, providing clear visibility into progress and challenges.
- Develop and maintain program schedules and deliverables to ensure all contract activities are completed on time.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential obstacles.
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.
- Facilitate contract modifications and coordinate updates with stakeholders.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in contract execution.
- Oversee the allocation and reallocation of resources to meet changing project needs.
- Conduct program reviews and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities related to the contract.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance across the program team.
Qualifications:
- The ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- The ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and be able to handle pressure.
Required Experience:
- Five years of experience as a PM or 10+ years of directly related training and/or experience. .
Education Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, communications, or other related degree field.
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Certificate in Project Management or Lean Principles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with federal contracting processes and compliance.
- Excellent risk management and mitigation skills.
- Proficiency in program management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
Work Environment:
- This job is 100% on-site at a customer site and is performed indoors in an office setting.
