Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Secret Cleared Program Manager to lead an application development program for the Army. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex software projects, possess a Secret clearance, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of the application development program, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with Army requirements and objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Army stakeholders, understanding their needs and priorities to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Team Management: Oversee a team of developers, analysts, and other project personnel, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure project success.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, optimizing costs and ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, proactively addressing challenges and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards, conducting reviews and inspections to verify compliance with requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and documentation for stakeholders and leadership, communicating program status, achievements, and challenges.
- Compliance: Ensure program compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and security protocols, including maintaining the required security clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Secret clearance or higher, with experience working on government contracts and programs
- Proven track record of successfully managing application development programs, preferably within the defense or government sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and risk assessment/mitigation
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with Army policies, procedures, and technical requirements is a plus
