Position: Program Manager II
Status: Full-Time Hourly (4hours)
Location: Washington, DC
Hours: 5 days per week, from 8am-5pm (1-hour lunch)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides management and technical direction to program personnel. Will regularly exercise independent judgment, as well as a high-level of analytical skill in solving complex technical, administrative and managerial problems. Will be responsible for all aspects of program performance. The individual will: (1) Be responsible for all aspects of program performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial); (2) Manage all aspects of program activity; (3) Provide technical and financial reports in order to show progress to Corporate management and customers; (4) Maintain customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations; (5) Assume the initiative and provide support to Corporate management in identifying future requirements; (6) Develop, maintain, and implement a Program Management Plan that guides the performance of all functional activities performed on the Program. Requires a B.S. in an associated discipline (or equivalent) and approximately 4 years of related experience, 1 of which must be in a supervisory role.
- Skill in greeting and interacting with people in a courteous and tactful manner.
- Skill in operating computers and printers to produce a wide range of documents.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Friendly and personable with excellent telephone etiquette.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- This position routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops, computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets, in a home office as well as an in-person office environment.
- Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds
- This position is generally performed in a professional office setting; 70% sitting, 20% standing, and 10% walking.
