You will be responsible for total Program Integration Management of multiple complex projects, major systems and subcontractors with specifically focused responsibility for customer relationship, cost, schedule and technical planning, tracking and reporting, technical execution, and ensuring overall program performance objectives are achieved.
You will typically manage programs of $20M or greater with varying development scope, greater than medium complexity and requiring high customer interaction.
Cost and Schedule considerations are of higher risk to the company.
You will supervise the work of program and project staff and be responsible for add-on work and proposal tasks from first customer interaction, defining requirements, basis of estimates, negotiation and contract award.
You will participate in business resource planning/tracking in coordination with other corporate entities and responsible to formulate a team that can fulfill program requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring program issues and problems are identified, tracked, and resolved; and for program risk management and ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, tracked, and managed.
You'll be responsible for conducting routine meetings, interfacing on project/program status, developing proposals, researching/fact-finding, coordinating audits, and negotiating with project/program stakeholders to ensure enterprise initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.
You'll support the Program Director and Business Operations in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Business Area.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide.
The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.Responsibilities:As the Program Manager you will be responsible for program cost, schedule, technical, and riskYou will represent SNC at Customer meetings and be the primary point of contact for the CustomerCustomer focus is paramount and your responsiveness to customer actions and inquires will take the highest priorityA solid foundation in Government contractual requirements related to program execution, cost, requirements, and schedule is required.
You will be required to collaborate with the SNC contracts and Government contracts representativesYou will manage cross functional teams, located at various facilities, and ensure the program is adequately resourced to ensure program successYou will analyze program metrics and indicators to identify issues and formulate mitigation strategies.
Program status inclusive of cost, schedule, technical, and risk will be brief at the Executive levels You will work with Business Development and Chief Engineer to develop and maintain the Product Line strategic road map.
You will be responsible in the growth the Product Line and Business Unit business baseYou will ensure the program and team are compliant to SNC policies and proceduresQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related fieldTypically 8+ years of progressive experience in project or program managementTypically 3+ years leading medium scale project scope spanning 1-2 years, while leading teams made up of 5+ cross functional team membersProgram Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Advanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related fieldExperience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes.
Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes.Experience with managing a complex project or larger program.Experience in team building, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines.Demonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.Requires ability to execute coordination of all elements of a program, i.e., Program integration management.
Perform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc.
Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.Requires ability to identify, assess, and control financial, technical, and legal risks.Proficient leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviewsRequires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situationsAn active Secret U.S.
