Job Responsibilities:
The Program Manager's duties include the supervision and leadership of a multidisciplinary team by establishing and communicating expectations, evaluating, motivating and professional development. The Homesafe Program provides supportive housing for families involved with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency and face stressors including a history of homelessness, substance abuse, mental health concerns, and separation of children due to these stressors.
- Lead and manage the program and team, ensuring that all components are being implemented with fidelity. Monitor and report on Program Outcomes/Logic Model, to measure progress, program impact, and inform continuous quality improvement.
- Utilize data to support program quality and compliance included but not limited to: EHR data, KPI data, internal and external reporting, family record and service review, billing, and productivity.
- Manage and support the performance of team members, in areas including but not limited to: referral outreach, service quality, model fidelity, documentation compliance, documentation quality, contracted level of service, fee-for-service revenue targets, and agency/team productivity targets.
- Facilitate and/or attend program specific meetings with referral sources and stakeholders, as indicated.
- Submit a budget plan on a yearly basis, including revenue and expense. Initiate and follow the request and purchase process in line with the approved budget.
- Follow agency processes, and support team members in the same, in areas included but not limited to: timesheet and other HRIS submittals, purchase requisitioning and receiving, expense reports and reconciliation.
- Provide clinical supervision, supervision for licensure, and/or supportive consultation as indicated and within scope of licensure.
- Attend Manager's and Supervisor's meetings, conduct supervision meetings with individual team members and team meetings on a regular basis.
- Maintain ongoing and consistent communication with Senior Manager, related to areas of work and deliverables within the job description.
- Be an active, positive stakeholder in the communication feedback loop among the Administrative Manager, Team Managers, Administrative Assistant, and team members. Support a positive relationship between service and administration that is balanced with accountability, positive morale, and support.
- Attend Quality Improvement Committee regularly, as well as indicated Sub-Committee meetings, and ensure ongoing Quality Improvement to the program, including, but not limited to ongoing cultural competence, trauma informed care, and other mission related needs.
- Provides supportive housing and/or visitation services as needed and indicated.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent master's in human services. State licensure required: LCSW, LPC, LMFT. Must possess a valid driver's license.
Experience: Five years experience in mental health, family services, and/or child welfare. Supervisory experience. Experience with diverse populations.
Knowledge: Knowledge of child welfare system. Knowledge of supportive housing, housing first, and/or supportive visitation models. Knowledge of community resources, social service and mental health systems. Knowledge of appropriate therapeutic interventions in a crisis and non-crisis situation.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to make appropriate assessments and service planning. Ability to supervise staff regarding therapeutic interventions, and service planning. Ability to mobilize individual and family strengths. Ability to assess children, adults, and families for safety. Ability to work with hard to reach consumers. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to create a warm, non-threatening therapeutic atmosphere. Ability to set limits and appropriate boundaries with consumers. Willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work on multi-disciplinary team. Ability to manage staff performance and support professional development.
