Job Summary:
Alluvionic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our Government Programs team. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of government-funded programs, ensuring all objectives are met on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracts, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight & Delivery: Lead the planning and execution of government programs, ensuring that all milestones, budgets, timelines, and performance targets are met.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment on program goals.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure programs are executed in full compliance with government regulations, contract terms, and applicable policies. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to program success.
Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, provide guidance, and coordinate activities across departments (e.g., legal, finance, operations, etc.) to achieve program goals.
Budget & Resource Management: Oversee program budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Report on financial status and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior leadership and government stakeholders. Maintain thorough documentation for all program activities.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate program performance and identify opportunities for process improvements, increased efficiency, and enhanced delivery capabilities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- PMP certification is a preferred.
- Must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing government contracts or programs, with at least 2 years in a program management or leadership role.
- Proven experience with government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS, etc.).
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Technology Proficiency:
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
